From what I understand, those are very loyal dogs (is that right?). She is lovely. I hope she recovers quickly.

We have a 9 year old Weimeraner. He's absolutely *nuts*. He's very loyal, loves human companionship, and is very very smart (too smart), but is unequivocably insane. Neurotic. Mind you, that last is probably in part due to the brain tunmour (at least, it's postulated that's what is wrong with him -- he's got a degenerative neurological problem of some sort, but we can't afford the cost of an MRI to pin down exactly what is wrong).
