Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh Angel!! Yes!! Finally! I don't care is he's real or not, he came to visit! Yay! Maybe now Wes can move on a bit!

Yes, I really think Wesley was just waiting and waiting for Angel until this moment, and even if this is just something that he's told himself to make himself feel better, it *does* make him feel better. It was fun, I must admit, to sit down and think about how I think Wesley perceives Angel and then to write him as the kind of Ace (Rimmer) fighter pilot version of Angel who is just that bit Better Than Life, and who would, of course, be incredibly cool and stylish and noble and heroic and wouldn't need to talk to anyone but Wesley before he goes off to save the entire earthly dimension and probably a few others too.

I'm not that familiar with BTVS. Are Miranda and Alice in canon? Poor Giles. *pets him*

No, they're not canon characters. We didn't actually get to see the witches in the coven where Willow went at the end of S6 and where she is with Giles at the beginning of S7. Miranda and Alicia are the dreaded OFCs but I didn't want to bump off from canon and I really needed a pressing reason to get Giles up to Harrogate even when he had his hands full of injured Gunn and squirrelly Wes.

And I'm glad Gunn could bond with Willow :) There's a nice still of Gunn and Willow but not really a scene that I can remember with the two of them from Orpheus, which seemed a shame. I always wanted more interaction between the Buffyverse and Angelverse characters so it's fun for me to indulge myself by having Gunn and Willow bond. Thanks again for all this lovely feedback!
