Thank you so much for posting such lovely feedback. That was a wonderful thing to find. I'm so glad you enjoyed the fic and I can't thank you enough for reccing it on your LJ. I'm very fond of it because it was so enjoyable to write because of the language one can use when being sub-Tolkienesque that isn't appropriate in other fic, so it's particularly pleasurable to get feedback for it, especially so long after I wrote it.

I love that world and that language but I have just never had another idea for one since although I still love that pairing and would dearly love to find more fic to read that focuses on it either as a friendship or a romance. I'm going to hunt through the archives you have links to on your LJ in the hope of finding more. I'll post 'Night and Day' on my LJ too as it's not very long.
