First Live Journal Entry

I've had this LJ for a little while now but have been too wussy/busy to get around to doing anything with it. But now that most of the fic I like seems to be posted to Live Journals before its archived, or isn't archived at all, I feel I have to take the plunge.

I'm in 'Six Feet Under' withdrawal after finishing S4 on DVD and now have to wait until next year for S5 to come out. On the upside I really enjoyed watching 'Dirty Pretty Things' tonight and am grateful to the Amazon rental service for all the films they've been sending that I haven't had to buy on DVD. Also impatiently awaiting S2 of Deadwood and Carnivale and looking forward to my Veronica Mars boxset to go from 'awaiting stock' on play.com to 'shipped'.

Thank you for the welcome, Lex! Er...innocent lex? Please marvel at my restraint in not typing 'since when?' Drunken orgy? And I thought it was a bible class. Darn. I suppose I'd better just join in anyway. Ankh and Scribe are actually blameless, and indeed probably dazzling people with their haloes even as I type this. It's the fault of the people who write Angel fic who all have it on their LJs and it's really hard to find unless you have one, too.

I have to say, what a *gorgeous* icon. Lovely lovely pic of Daniel. It's the perfect 'why does everyone else in this room have the brain of a pea/not care about the moral issues' expression, plus - hot! He has such a biteable throat. Or I've possibly been hanging around in a vampire fandom a leetle too long...

Ah yes, Daniel-love goes a long way. It's such a gorgeous picture of him, so very Daniel-esque in mood, so pretty.

And I am innocent. Completely. Ask anyone. Well, not the usual suspects as I'm sure they'll only tell vicious, slanderous porkies, but perhaps some people at work who don't know me very well yet.
