It's great to find other people who like him. I thought he was a really nice guy, who was good for Buffy, and I liked his friendship with Xander, too. I missed him when he left.
I agree with you. I never have understood the Riley-hate. He was a good, decent guy who had to re-evaluate his beliefs and make some hard decisions. I love him. I also loved the relationship he had with Xander, who really needed a guy friend after Oz left.
