I read this in her zine and loved it. I'm glad you posted this. I'm going to go find it and keep it for my surgery next week.

Not that a new Chandras book wouldn't be welcome.... Nag nag nag.

I'm really looking forward to reading it. And I'm not going to nag about Angel fanfic. Honestly, I'm not.

Goodmorning.
i check your lj from time to time because i love your writing and i was very excited to see a new story here. i love 'The Gift'. i love the plot, i love the interaction between the various characters and the seamless balance in it, the descriptions, the portrayal of characters, the narrative. a complete AU and you make it feel real and believable and damn interesting on top of all. i read it in one go through the wee hours of the morning.
it made me want to watch stargate sg1 again (no tv station in my country has showed any season beyond the 3rd one) and reminded me how much i loved the show and the characters each time i'd watch an ep.
thank you.

Thank you for writing and publishing this novel!

I've read J/D fics for years and am always happy to find good, long story's that I haven't read yet. This is an excellent novel that I enjoyed every word of. Perfect characterization, a clever plot and nice pacing, in my humble opinion.
