Hmm, well, I think Daniel would definitely be Gunn’s type – Gunn has excellent eyesight – and, although it’s possible I may be biased, I think anyone with a pulse would find Gunn his or her type on account of his being eight feet tall and indescribably gorgeous. *But* – and I think this is a serious problem – the last time I watched Stargate, Jack had a P-90, Teal'c had a staff weapon, Sam could use a hand device, Oma Desala could blast Goa'uld ships out of the sky, Thor could suck motherships up like a Hoover, Chaka had a very nasty Unas temper and Vala could be just really mean sometimes. By comparison, Gunn has an axe. Made out of a hubcap. I’m not seeing a fair combat here if Gunn had to fight for him, and as Daniel’s little friends are generally fairly psychotically jealous (Jack and Teal'c I’m looking at you here) I’m not seeing a long and healthy life for Gunn out of this arrangement. So…er…no. I'll just let him contend with the occasionally evil and occasionally insane vampire as his rival.
