I think you'd like Six Feet Under. I noticed on TV Refugee that a lot of the people posting about SFU there are Buffy refugees who, having lost Buffy and Angel, have taken up with SFU and that's exactly what I did too. I really enjoyed it and it's nice that there are four seasons out on DVD so if you get into it you can watch all of them. You're welcome to borrow mine if you want to as we won't be watching them again for a while. Brenda and I both got Deadwood on your recommendation of Jb talking about the scripting and she was absolutely right. I don't even like westerns and I was completely hooked and my mother went into serious withdrawal when we finished the S1 set. I think it's the series she's enjoyed the most this year. (That would still be 'Miracles' for me.) I've only seen one episode of Boston Legal, and JS was yummy and a terrific character, but the women all looked like interchangeable Barbie dolls to me which really put me off. I really love House, despite finding one of the characters a little off-putting in some episodes. I'm hoping she will be written a little less crushy and pathetic in S2, but the rest of the show is so good that I can watch around her. What is there about Hugh Laurie not to love? What is 'WAT'? I'm intrigued. I don't think I know Eric Close but I definitely agree about supporting the pretty boys of friends.
