Rediscovered your fic at Bunnyfic and came back here - thanks for your response to my comment! There still aren't too many Buffy/Riley videos in general on the Buffyverse Music Video Database, which is what I expected, but we can keep hoping.

I was *so* disappointed when their kiss fizzled on Buffy, but they really won me over with the sibling relationship in Angel, although, having said that, a romance would also have had me squeeing very happily. Any time when they are interacting is a time when I am happy. Have you seen this wonderful Wesley/Cordelia vid - 'Building A Mystery'? It's about 15 vids down on this page: Astarte’s Music Vids

Oh, I love the Cordelia-Wesley friendship, too - it's the thing I missed most after season 2. Although that kiss in Wesley's first Angel episode was great! I have seen Astarte's "Building a Mystery" and it is so lovely. I also liked her Fred/Cordelia video to "Crazy."

I know they needed to show how he was doing the right thing only because it was the right thing, even though he had every reason to be fed up with, not just Faith, but with Angel too, but I do think it would have been nice if there had been a scene later where there was some acknowledgement from Angel to Wesley that what had been done to him was pretty awful.

You're absolutely right about the character development reason. Another painful step toward a more independent Wesley, with some of that hard-won confidence.

There were never enough Cordelia-and-Fred scenes for me and I haven't been able to find much fic that deals with them in either a friendshippy or naughty nekkid way, both of which I would really like to read.

I don't know how many of these you've read, but here's a list of the Cordelia/Fred fic I've liked, with some commentary and excerpts.

Be Delicious (http://community.livejournal.com/femslash_minis/44936.html) - Fred's brave, Cordy's got a big heart despite herself, and both of them are beautiful. A perfect Cordelia POV rounds out this lush, funny, and tender AUish missing scene for That Old Gang of Mine.

Sweet, Sour, and Sweet Again (The Monster at the End of This Book Remix) (http://remix.illuminatedtext.com/dbfiction.php?fiction_id=457) - stunning metafiction about vision, death, power, and what that means for us reading Cordelia and Fred's deaths. I have literally never read any other fic like this. They're dead, but not destroyed, and if it's true that only monsters survive the alleyway, then Fred and Cordelia, just themselves, are monsters too, at the end of the story.
