The other news is good too, and on another day I'd be very excited about the 'Goners' news and horror film news and everything else, but I have to admit the part that has me doing the Dance of Joy right now is the news about Ripper. So, so happy about this. :)

Too bad it's only a 90-minute movie, not a series, but beggars can't be choosers, I guess. Wow. Never thought it'd really happen. How cool!!! Thanks for the heads-up!

I'm hoping the 90 minute movie may be in the nature of a pilot and could lead onto a series. I'm just so excited at the thought of getting more Giles on TV that I'm pretty much willing to settle for anything right now. You're welcome but you should really thank deanna b on Whedonesque, whoever she may be, who heroically laptopped her way through the Joss panel so that the rest of us would know what he was saying.

I was so caught up in the SGA people being at ComicCon (yay!) that it completely passed me by that Joss was going to be there. That is *such* good news about Ripper! My goodness, we've waited long enough for it, haven't we? Yes, any film news by Joss is worth noting, but like you, it's the Ripper news that has me doing the Dance of Joy. :)

I just saw that Jewel was part of the panel and I was going to get around to reading what they said about SGA but was too consumed with excitement about the Ripper news to do more than burble idiotically to myself for a while. :)

Even though it's only a 90 minute tv movie, that's still WONDERFUL! I thought it was a completely dead project. Oh man, you've just made my whole morning.

Isn't it exciting??? I thought it was dead, too, until that announcement came pretty much out of nowhere. I wish the comics did it for me, but I need the actors saying the words and bringing their own input to the experience for it to feel like 'Buffyverse' to me. I'm looking forward to this *so* much.
