Oh, on your Pretense fics, I'm sure they would be much appreciated no matter when they come out. And I'm sure many fans would REALLY appreciate the chance to read "Strange Interlude." My copy of the 'zine is quite rough at the edges now after so many readings, and electrons don't wear out, so... go find it and post it! ;)
Re your sister, that sounds like a very scary condition based on the long name, and not one I've heard of. I'm glad to hear she's in good hands in France, although you do have to watch those docs and their experiments. And yes, I completely believe they don't do veggie in France. It's not something they comprehend! But based on what my dad endured before he passed, US hospitals can't make anything edible at all. It's beyond the worst jokes the old-time comedians make. We snuck pizza and McDonalds in to him and he was thrilled.
