I am always complaining about the lack of good Daniel and Teal'c friendship fics

Oh me too. But I was hoping there were a ton out there that I just hadn't found yet and that you could miraculously produce for me. (And thanks for the lovely comments about my fic.)

I wondered if I might be missing out on good Teal'c and Daniel friendship stories by Sam/Jack writers

Oh, I've wondered that too. I read quite a lot of Sam/Jack fic in the past and there were some that had really excellent Sam characterization but I don't remember a lot of Daniel-Teal'c friendship (although both characters were written sympathetically in the ones I read), more ones where Daniel was Sam's close friend and was playing Cupid to get her and Jack together. (I'm thinking of the 'Danny Lurks' series in particular, which was very sweet.)

But really, the Teal'c and Daniel dynamic has such dramatic potential, and it's just - not - there. Argh.

So, there is no secret stash of great gen Daniel-Teal'c angsty hurt-comfort action-adventure fic out there whose location you have discovered and whose URL you can supply then? I was afraid of that. But, as you say, the relationship had everything, all that history between them and the extraordinary tenderness they have for one another, that it feels as if it should be inspiring a ton of fic.

Write some? Please? :)

I really want to at some point, but the Labyrinth sequel really needs to be Sam-Daniel (friendship) focused because of them both having missing memories. But I really want the one after that to be Daniel-Teal'c centric. I will add it to my (now rather long) To Do list.
