I'd love some recs from people or links to anywhere that has already got recs for hurt-comfort fic (with Wesley being the one comforted if possible). I just found this one and love it.

[livejournal.com profile] kivrin wrote Therapy for the Schmangst-a-thon

PG Hurt/Comfort, set just after 'Disharmony', Characters: Wesley and Angel.

I don't mind how long or short the fic is as long as people are being nice to Wesley in it. :)

When I have a craving for Wesley h/c I like to read stories from YesWes (http://www.yeswes.com). But you'll probably know this side already. I'll go trough my "archive" maybe I'll find some more.

Oh I love that site! It's one of the first ones I found, (probably through Pam's fic recs site). And, yes, that's exactly the kind of fic I was thinking of. I have read the ones on there but that's such a good reminder. I can read my way through them again, quite happily. :) Wonderful site with so much wonderful Wes-centric fic. Some lovely Wes/Cordy h/c as well. Thank you for the reminder!

When I started reading fanfiction Wesley fics were pretty rare and then I found YesWes and Wesleyan Aria and thought I was in heaven... :)
At the moment there are so many good Wes fics out there that I can't keep up reading. I mean I don't complain or anything but I think I have to quit my job to read them all. ;)

Those are the two sites I started with as well and, like you say, I was just in hurt-comfort Wes Heaven, and then I followed all of Pam's recs and kept bookmarking LJ's and things, and haunted Wesley fanfiction dot net praying for updates and I really thought that that was kind of it, the Wesfic was going to trickle away and there wouldn't be any more and was very "Where has all the Wesfic gone!". And then I found it was all on LJ and there was lots of it and it was all absolutely wonderful. I feel like a kid in a candy store at the moment. Every time I click on someone's LJ they have a brilliant Wesfic I haven't read before. Colour me a very happy Wesley fan right now. I just feel bad about owing about three years of feedback to people whose fic I've been reading without commenting on because I didn't have an LJ.

One of my all-time favourites is The Serpentigena Sequence from Magpie. Have you read this story? It's wonderful. And long, very, very long! :)

Sorry, I just noticed this. I haven't read that fic yet. I may have it on my HDD. I'll have a look and see and if not I'll come back to you for a link to where I can find it. Thanks again for the recs.

Have you read Into darkness (http://ferretgirl.freeweb-hosting.com/darknessindex.htm) from [livejournal.com profile] theferretgirl and Light in darkness (http://home.comcast.net/~wesleysgirl/fanfiction/lightindarkness.html) from WesleysGirl?

The first is Angel/Wesley/Spike and the second Spike/Wes.

Goodness! These were both *wonderful*. Thank you so much. I never thought I'd like Eve in a fic but it really worked for me there. Lots of lovely angst and a happy ending too. :) And a snuggly Wesley sandwich to boot! And I really like Spike when he's fussing over Wesley and he fussed over him wonderfully there. Great recs, thank you! :)

Those are really wonderful stories. And I thought the same about Eve. :)
